Trojan Digital Marketing builds websites for pay per call and pay per lead businesses. These companies rank local service sites, then sell the calls or form leads to the businesses that do the work. We design them from Indianapolis. Each site is built around what your buyers pay for, a call or lead they can trace back to where it came from.
Questions, answered.
Do you sell the calls or leads?
No. We design and build the websites. You set prices, find buyers and handle billing through your own call tracking platform.
Can you use my call tracking platform?
Yes. We place your tracking numbers on the site and send form leads where your platform needs them.
Which trades do you build pay per call sites for?
Local service trades where a call is worth paying for, such as HVAC and plumbing. Tell us your trade and markets, and we'll say whether we can build something useful for them.
Will Google rank a set of near-identical city pages?
Google's spam policies treat pages aimed at cities that funnel users to one page as doorway abuse. We write each page around real information for its town and service.
“I had a great experience working with Jeff…”
“…drove a noticeable uptick in leads within just a few weeks…”

How the model works
A pay per call site answers a local search and sends the call through a tracking number, so you can bill the business that takes it. Buyers usually pay for calls that meet agreed rules, such as a minimum length or a service area. A pay per lead site works the same way with forms. The website's job is to make those rules easy to prove when a buyer asks.
What we build into each site
Every page shows your tracking number where a visitor looks first. When your call tracking platform supports it, the number can change by source, so you can see which page or campaign drove each call. Forms pass the lead along with the page, town and service it came from. We keep pages light so they load quickly on phones, where many local searches happen.
Town pages that are worth ranking
A network of town pages only works if each page is useful on its own. Google's spam policies list pages targeted at specific regions or cities that funnel users to one page as an example of doorway abuse. So we write each town and service page around real information for that place, such as the areas it covers and the questions people there ask. We skip towns we can't say something true about.
Tracking a buyer can check
- Fit
- Explain the service scope.
- Trust
- Show supporting evidence.
- Next step
- Give a clear contact route.
We connect the site to the call tracking platform you already use and record each form's source. Your routing and billing rules stay in that platform, and the website feeds it clean data. When a buyer disputes a call or lead, you can show where it started.
Consent wording on forms
If a form asks permission to call or text the visitor, the consent wording has to be clear, and the rules around it change. We place the wording your lawyer approves and keep it the same on every form across the network.
Where this sits next to owned networks
We also build lead websites for contractors who want to own their leads, through owned networks. This page is for the other side of that market, the businesses that sell calls and leads to contractors and other local companies.
