Noblesville Square Parking on Google: What to Set and Say

To add parking to a Google Business Profile, open Edit profile, select More and set each parking attribute to yes or no. Near the Noblesville Square, also write the three free weekday hours into your description, since a yes or no box can't say that.

To add parking to your Google Business Profile, open Edit profile, select More, and set each parking attribute Google offers your category to yes or no. On the Noblesville Square, also write the street limit into your description and onto your website, because a yes or no box can't say three hours. That limit changed in 2026, so a profile set up a few years ago may be telling people the wrong thing.

Visit Hamilton County calls the Square the heart of the Noblesville Cultural Arts District. Its page sums up the parking in one line: paid lot and garage parking, plus free street parking. That's a fair start, but a customer deciding whether to drive downtown wants more. They want to know how long they can stay, which garage to try and what changes after 5 pm. The answer depends on which part of downtown they're headed to.

  • Noblesville Square: the courthouse square is a single block bounded by Logan, 8th, 9th and Conner streets, according to Wikipedia's entry on Hamilton County Courthouse Square. The Historic Courthouse at 33 N 9th Street holds offices like the Auditor, the Recorder and the Treasurer.
  • Government and Judicial Center: Hamilton County's parking page puts it on the west side of the Square, with the courts, the Clerk's Office and voter registration inside.
  • Pleasant Street: the east-west road just south of the downtown square, where the city finished its Reimagine Pleasant Street project in 2025.
  • Nickel Plate Trail and Midland Trace Trail: the two trails meet at Pleasant Street, so some customers arrive by bike.

So some people walking past your door came downtown for a court date or a tax bill, and they may never have parked here before.

Google's parking attributes and which apply downtown

Google's help page says attributes show up on your profile on Search, Maps and other Google platforms. If you add certain attributes, Google's attributes guide says, your business might show up in searches for places that have them. Some attributes come from what visitors tell Google, and some you set yourself.

To set them, go to your Business Profile, select Edit profile, then More, and select Edit next to the attribute category you want. Choose Yes or No for each attribute, then Save. Google says a review of your edits usually takes about 10 minutes, but it can take up to 30 days. It also says some attributes only appear in certain locations or business categories, and that attribute names may change over time.

For parking, Google's Places API reference lists separate options for free and paid lots, free and paid street parking, free and paid garages, and valet parking. The same reference notes that a parking lot could support more than one option at the same time. A DAC roundup from December 2023 lists the same set as Business Profile attributes open to all businesses. On the Square, they line up like this.

  • Free street parking: yes for most storefronts. The city's weekday limit is three hours, from 8 am to 5 pm, and evenings and weekends have no limit.
  • Free parking lot: yes if the orange, gold or teal lots are close to you. The city's April changes took the meters out of the orange and gold lots, and weekday parking in those lots is free for up to three hours.
  • Free and paid garage parking: the Levinson and Federal Hill garages are free for three hours, and the city lists $2 after that. If your visits run long, it's honest to mark both.
  • Paid street parking: the city's rules describe free street parking, so most Square businesses can leave this one off.
  • Valet parking: only if you run a valet yourself.

One more garage matters after hours. The county garage at 225 N. 9th St. is for staff and jurors during business hours, and the county says public parking is prohibited then. It opens to the public weekdays after 5 pm and on weekends, with no overnight parking. That's worth a line on the visit page of an evening restaurant or a Saturday shop.

Telling customers about the three-hour limit

Until April 2026, most street spaces near the county buildings had a two-hour limit. The Common Council approved new rules on April 14, and the city's announcement says they took effect April 23. Free weekday street parking went from 2 hours to 3 hours, from 8 am to 5 pm. Free parking with no limit continues on evenings after 5 pm and on weekends.

Hamilton County's page now matches, saying most on-street parking within two blocks of the Government and Judicial Center is limited to three hours on weekdays. Where spaces aren't marked, the county says the time isn't restricted. So search everything you've published for the old rule. Your profile description, your visit page, a pinned social post and the directions in your confirmation emails may all still say two hours.

The description is the right home for the detail, since attributes only take yes or no. Google's guide to editing your profile says the description shows in the “From the business” section, and it suggests including anything else that's helpful for customers to know. It also says to leave out URLs and HTML code and to stay within 750 characters. A sentence or two on parking fits easily, and a line like this works.

Parking: Free street parking around the Square, with three hours on weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm and no limit evenings and weekends. The Levinson garage on Maple Avenue is free for the first three hours.

Court days and first-time visitors

Court dates and county errands bring people downtown who may not know the area. Hamilton County's parking page tells Judicial Center visitors to use the main entrance on the east side, and Historic Courthouse visitors to use the west door. Jurors and staff get the county garage during business hours. Everyone else on county business looks for the same street spaces and garages your customers use.

If you're close to the Judicial Center, name the Levinson Building garage at 868 Maple Ave on your visit page. The county says the public can park there for the first three hours, with an hourly rate after that. Tell people which door is yours, too. A storefront photo taken from the sidewalk helps, and our post on Business Profile services and photos covers picking photos that help customers decide.

The building is growing, too. Work on a Judicial Center expansion began in May 2026 on the building's west lawn, Current reported. Larry in Fishers reported seven new courtrooms, with completion expected in late 2027. The county commission's president said the county is working with the city to keep as much parking and pedestrian access open as possible. Until the work is done, walk the blocks around your door once a month and update your profile when something changes.

Embrace Downtown and other changes to the curb

Embrace Downtown is the city's overhaul of the infrastructure around the Square. Axios reported in January 2026 that the $8.2 million project covers pedestrian safety, beautification and aging underground systems. The city says 30 years have passed since downtown's last significant infrastructure update. The first phase started on Logan Street between Eighth and Ninth streets.

When Phase 1B began in April, Current reported no parking on Logan Street between 8th and 9th streets, with business access kept open. A sidewalk six feet wide stayed open along the building fronts. The city expected the whole project to finish in November, weather permitting.

The city tied its April parking changes to the same project. It said a new parking map would go on the city's website and be handed out to businesses. If you have that map, link to the city's copy from your visit page so customers always see the current version.

Pleasant Street changed too. Reimagine Pleasant Street's first phase brought a new White River bridge, a roundabout at River Road and two roundabouts on Eighth Street, The Reporter wrote. The city's 2025 year in review lists the project as complete. If your directions still warn people about Pleasant Street construction, it's time to rewrite them.

Whenever a block near you closes, change the profile description, the visit page and your social accounts on the same day. Then change them back when it reopens.

Trail riders arriving on the Nickel Plate

The Nickel Plate reaches downtown from the south. The city's Nickel Plate Trail page lists its section at 2.7 miles, running from 146th Street to Pleasant Street, and 12 feet wide. That's where it meets the Midland Trace Trail, just south of the downtown square. The city says the trail opened to the public in October 2024.

Google's parking options don't cover bikes, so this belongs in your description and on your website. If you have a bike rack, say exactly where riders will find it. If you don't, tell riders where they can lock up nearby. Visit Hamilton County also sends visitors to the White River riverwalk, just steps from the courthouse lawn. If the riverwalk is an easy way to reach you, mention it in your directions.

Your profile and your visit page should match, word for word. When they disagree, customers can't tell which one to trust. A visit page for a Square business should cover these points.

  • The street rule in plain words: three free hours on weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm, and no limit evenings or weekends.
  • A public garage by name and street, such as the Levinson garage at 868 Maple Ave, with its three free hours.
  • Evening and weekend options, including the county garage at 225 N. 9th St. after 5 pm on weekdays.
  • Which door to use, with a photo of your storefront from the sidewalk.
  • Bike parking for trail riders, if you have it.
  • A dated note about any construction on your block, with a link to the city's parking map.

Quick answers about Square parking on Google

Where do parking options live in a Google Business Profile?

Go to your Business Profile, select Edit profile, then More, and select Edit next to the attribute category you want. Google's place data lists free and paid lots, free and paid street parking, free and paid garages, and valet. Set each one to Yes or No and save. Some attributes only show for certain locations or categories.

How long is free parking on the Noblesville Square?

Since April 23, 2026, the city's rules give three hours of free weekday street parking from 8 am to 5 pm, with no limit evenings and weekends. The Levinson and Federal Hill garages are free for three hours, and the city lists $2 after that. Check the posted signs, since construction can change a block quickly.

Can my Business Profile description mention parking?

Yes. Google suggests including anything else that's helpful for customers to know, and parking near the Square fits that. Keep it to a sentence or two, leave out links and HTML, and stay within the 750 character limit. Update it the same week a garage, lot or street rule changes.

Where do court visitors park in downtown Noblesville?

Hamilton County's parking page says its garage at 225 N. 9th St. is for staff and jurors during business hours.
